Alison Doody

Alison Doody is an Irish actress and model. Her birth date was November 11, 1966. Alison Doody first made a movie debut as the Bond actress with the film A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she starred as a character in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. Doody played Nazi sympathetic archaeologist Elsa Schneider. Siobhan is in A Prayer for the Dying, Charlotte in Taffin and Rebecca Flannery Major League II. Doody started modelling after she was approached. The result was that it turned out to be an extremely lucrative profession. Doody was extremely cautious about doing the glamorous work or doing nude. The same rule continued into the acting profession. She accepted a small role in the film Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill following the fact that she was noticed by the director of casting. Doody's name was featured within John Willis Screen World Vol. 12 which features the most promising actors from 1986. 38. Doody was only 18 years old at the time of her appearance in the Bond role. To date Doody is considered to be the youngest Bond girl. in 1987 Mickey Rourke starred in A Prayer for the Dying where she played IRA member Siobhan Doovan. Doody was a silent actor in a 1987 adaptation to The Secret Garden, playing Archibald Craven's dream bride Lilias. The Storyteller episode from 1988 was her first appearance in the main part of Sapsorrow, alongside John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. The actress played Pierce Brosnan, in the 1988 film Taffin. She then took on her biggest role yet in the film Taffin as Austrian Archaeologist and Nazisympathiser The doctor. Doody played co-starring in 1991 with Jonathan Pryce opposite the British mini-series Selling Hitler, which was an inspiration for the book fraud named The Hitler Diaries. When she moved to Hollywood Doody made her a star. She was Flannery the agent of Charlie Sheen as well as partner on the set of Major League II. She was chosen to be the replacement for Cybill Shepherd, who had been L'Oreal's spokesperson. Doody was part of the 2004 British comedy The Actors. Michael Caine was her character in a celebration to receive an award. The roles she played include a TV movie adaptation of King Solomon's Mines in 2004, a booklet about the Holocaust and a short film called Benjamin's Struggle in 2005. Doody was as a character in Danny Dyer 2010's The Rapture. Doody appeared on RTE's Medical drama The Clinic. The project was later shelved. Pam Jefferson, the character that she played in the comedy series E4's Beaver Falls during its first season that ran for two years. She also was on the show as Pam Jefferson on We Still Kill the Old Way. In November 2018 she was awarded the Almeria Tierra de Cinema Award as well as a star on the Walk of Fame in Almeria.
