Charisma Carpenter
Charisma Carpenter was born on July 23 on the 23rd of July, 1970. [1] She played Cordelia Chase in the series of supernatural drama Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-1999) and its spin-off series Angel (1999-2004). She was also in Charmed (2004), Kendall Casablancas and Veronica Mars (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell and Lacy in The Lying Game (2012–2013 strong>).
Carpenter was born in Las Vegas, Nevada the daughter of Christine the bird sanctuary worker and Don Carpenter, a salesman. She is of Spanish (from her maternal grandfather), French, and German descent. Carpenter was one of the students at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas. [6] She also performed in the group of dancers and song-makers that performed in the Las Vegas Valley when Carpenter was nine years old.
When Carpenter was 15, her family moved to Rosarito Beach, Baja California, Mexico[2] and then relocated to San Diego, California. She was a student at Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. Carpenter went on a trip around Europe following her graduation. After returning to San Diego, she worked as a clerk at a video store, an aerobics instructor, as well as in property management. In 1991, she was employed as a cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers football team, In 1992, she relocated to Los Angeles.
Henry Hubbard Jr. was an ex- San Diego officer and serial rapist who tried to subdue her and two of her male buddies while swimming in San Diego in 1991. The two of them, Henry Hubbard Jr. and her fellow swimmers were killed in the fight. They both survived. Hubbard was found guilty and sentenced to 56 year prison term for a series of rapes and thefts. Carpenter was able to bring Hubbard his police-issue flashlight to the beach. This flashlight proved to be crucial evidence against Hubbard.
Carpenter was placed at No. Carpenter was ranked 31 on AskMen’s top 99 Most Wanted Females of 2002[3031. 44 in their ranking for 2005. Carpenter declared that she doesn't think of herself as a sex icon in spite of this. Carpenter was included on the cover of the magazine and in a ten-page nude photograph in the June 2004 issue. People magazine asked Carpenter in 2005 if she would once again appear on Playboy. Carpenter said "I don’t know." I did Playboy because of a specific reason. Playboy was not just a wise financial move but also a good fit for my current life circumstance. I'd just had a baby and had gained over 50 pounds during pregnancy. I wanted to go back to my former self. I wanted to be at ease and attractive. So I thought, 'What if I went full throttle'
